Luke 9:1-6
Jesus Sends Out the Twelve
91Jesus called the Twelve[] together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases. 2He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. 3He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey—no staff, no bag, no bread, no money; and do not take two coats.[] 4Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave. 5If they do not welcome you, when you leave that town, shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”
6They set out and went throughout the villages, proclaiming the good news and healing everywhere.
